Sweet Nothings is inspired by the playful works of artist Hattie Stewart. Striking a balance between Stewart’s exuberant graphic style and Ocean’s elaborate and shadowy style, this work is a tongue-in-cheek meeting of worlds. A compelling deviation from her considered monochromatic style, this piece marks the beginning of a blossoming relationship with colour for Ocean.
Digital print on 300gsm aquarelle textured white paper.
Mounted on acid-free mount board and encased in a frame with a Perspex front.
