One of Ocean’s brightest works, Late Blossom pays homage to the contemporary artist Takashi Murakami, renowned for his bright floral motif. Through her use of acrylic and oil paint to achieve the rich colours, Ocean introduced new dimensions and textures into her work, diversifying her customarily subtle style.
