Drawing heavily from the arresting images of Black women in the 80s, this piece seeks to capture the essence of confidence and nonchalance that characterises the era. Woman stands apart from Ocean’s other pieces as it was completed on a whiteboard creating a more saturated image and making it one of her more technically challenging works.
