Omniscient is emblematic of Ocean’s perception of the natural world as observant, all-knowing and ultimately, reflective. This nature-influenced mysticism creates a serenity that becomes almost meditative. Working from real-world references for her leaves, Ocean is able captures their development at various stages, returning to the ever-relevant theme of mortality.
